Whychus Creek Riparian Restoration and Fish Passage Project

The City of Sisters and Upper Deschutes Watershed Council (UDWSC) are working together to enhance and restore Whychus Creek in the reach that flows through Creekside Park and Campground between Locust Street and Highway 20.  The initial phase of the project included the development of a comprehensive engineering and landscape design that will provide for instream and riparian fish and wildlife habitat restoration, recreational management at the site, footbridge upgrades to facilitate ADA access and other project objectives.
