The City of Sisters requires sign permits for most types of exterior signage in all zoning districts to ensure compliance with the Sisters Development Code - Sign Code Chapter 3.4.
New or Remodeled Permanent signs:

Sandwich boards or Portable signs:
- Portable signs, such as A-frame signs, shall be located entirely on private property, within 10 feet of the primary public entrance of the building space and shall not impede pedestrian pathways. No business may have more than two portable signs. These signs can be no larger than 16 square feet per side.
