In Sisters Country, wildfires are not a question of if, but when. It is important to understand and mitigate the risks of wildfire and take the responsibility to prepare yourself, your family, and your home.  

The City of Sisters recognizes the risks and the importance of making our community more resilient to wildfire. Working with our community partners, emergency responders, and State agencies, the City Council is committed to taking local actions to mitigate and protect our town from the threat and occurrences of wildfire.
