The City of Sisters contracts with Republic Services for garbage and recycling.
Weekly curbside collection of garbage is done by High Country Disposal on Tuesday or Thursday.
Roll carts for recyclable materials and yard debris are also available and are picked up every other week.
The Deschutes County Department of Solid Waste oversees the management of solid waste in Deschutes County. Solid waste disposal for the rural areas occurs at four transfer stations. Closest to Sisters is the Northwest Transfer Station and Recycling Center, located at 68200 Fryrear Road, Sisters, OR, 97759.
Opening hours are Wednesday - Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
