CITY OF SISTERS RECYCLE CENTER

Location: 328 W. Sisters Park Drive 
Hours of operation: 7 days a week from 7 AM to 4:30 PM.

The Recycle Center will be closed on the following Holidays:

  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Veterans Day
  • Thanksgiving Day

HOW TO PREPARE YOUR MATERIALS FOR THE SISTER RECYCLE CENTER

The City of Sisters Recycle Center will accept the following materials for recycling: Card Board,  Glass, Commingle Materials and Used Motor Oil.

Please follow the instructions posted by each container and when in doubt, just leave it out. There are regular garbage containers for items that cannot be recycled.
                               
The Commingle Recycle Container accepts paper products, plastic products and tin and aluminum.  It does NOT accept: 
    
  • Paper and Plastic Plates
  • Paper Napkins
  • Paper and Plastic Cups
  • Waxed Card Board
  • Plastic Lids and Caps
  • Liquid in Containers
  • Glass Bottles and Jars
  • Lightbulbs
  • Batteries
  • Foil Wrapping Paper/Ribbons

Credit Card Payment Authorization Form

Auto Payment

You will receive your regular monthly billing indicating the amount to be drafted from your bank account.  Bank drafts withdraw from your checking or saving account on the 10th of each month.  The billing will state “For Your Records Only – Do not Pay” when it is in effect.

To take advantage of this time saving opportunity:

  1. Fill out the bank drafting form.
  2. Attach a voided check.
  3. Provide required signatures.
  4. Return completed form to the City of Sisters, P.O. Box 39, Sisters, OR  97759.

Stop, Start, Move Service

START SERVICE:

Utility Service Request Application is required to apply for utility service at your new address. Applications can be filled out at the City Hall located at 520 E. Cascade or downloaded and mailed or faxed to our office.

STOP SERVICE:

Use a Stop Service Form to close your utility account. The water meter will be read within approximately two business days of your requested stop date or receipt of your request, whichever is later. The closing date and the closing bill will be prorated for the prior month's service. Please mail your request to the address below at least five business days in advance of your stop date.

MOVE SERVICE: 

If you are moving within Sisters and need to transfer service to your new address, please submit a Stop Service Form for your old address and a Start Service Form for the new address. Please mail it to the address below:

Low Income Utility Assistance:

You may be eligible for utility assistance on your water/sewer and garbage bills.  An Assistance Program Eligibility application is required to be submitted and approved in order to receive a 25% discount off of your utility bills.  Applications need to be submitted to the City Hall located at 520 E.
