Working for the City of Sisters
The City of Sisters purchases health insurance coverage through City County Insurance Services. The City also offers life insurance, long-term disability, AD&D, additional accident insurance and a flexible spending program. Health insurance begins on the first of the month following
the employees’ first 30 days of employment. Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, LTD, and AD&D are fully funded by the City.
The City fully funds contributions to the Oregon Public Employees Retirement Plan. In addition, employees have the option of participating in a 457 Deferred Compensation Program through the Oregon Savings Growth Plan or AIG VALIC.
