Finance & Administration Department is responsible for a number of financial and administrative duties and services. These include:
- Accounting
- Debt Management
- Financial Reporting
- Supplies/Reception/Phones
- Business Licenses
- Transient Room Tax
- Budgeting
- Investments
- Payables
- Receivables
- Payroll
- Human Resources staff oversees employee compensation, classification, recruitment and selection, and training.
- Risk Management oversees the City’s risk exposure and insurance programs including property, casualty, liability, and worker’s compensation coverage. The staff supports an active safety program and promotes employee wellness and physical fitness. Through its worker’s compensation program, Risk Management is responsible for processing worker’s compensation claims and coordinating benefits for injured workers. Finally, the department annually reviews all of the City’s insurance programs to ensure the best possible protection at the most reasonable cost.
- The Information Technology (IT) is responsible for the City of Sisters' technical environment, operations and support. Working together with other city departments, IT provides solutions and support for hardware, software, data, and policy needs.
In addition, Finance & Administration oversees utility billing.
